"It's okay, really. I'm not offended." She's really not. There's a part of her that wants to defend her clan, but at the same time... She knows it's true. Sometimes she wishes that she wasn't a part of it at all. How much easier would her life be if she didn't have all these rules that she was expected to follow? How nice would it be to just be normal?

But she feels guilty for even thinking that--every single time. She's a Quincy, just like her parents were, and she doesn't want to renounce that connection to them for anything.
