B. [ Daring the haunted house? Ekkehardt is around, though he's hard to recognise as himself. He might be a monster stalking unwary victims, a 'dead body' that's become a recent casualty of another jump scare, a skittish actor who's about to become one of those aforementioned dead bodies...
Or he might need to break character in order to rescue someone who isn't taking the scares so well. He seems to be everywhere, and with no signs of slowing down. ]
C. [ Ekkehardt is here to keep an eye on the proceedings, as usual - especially given the potential hazards of the costume contest - but he seems rather more spirited than he usually is at events like these.
Perhaps it's the weather agreeing with him, or the fact he simply enjoys the holiday. Or maybe it's because instead of his usual face, he's sporting a sharp-fanged, skeletal grin.
(Just for today, he's not wearing his glamour. Not that anyone needs to know that, of course...)
His 'costume', such as it is, is fairly simple - a historical suit, with jacket and pants in a red so deep it's almost black. He has a top hat and a short cape to go along with it - unsurprisingly in the same dark colours. And the mask that covers his face is white with red decorating around the edges, rather than just the same old red mask he usually wears - but it's simple, like everything else.
If you happen to be a faculty member or graduate he enjoys the company of, he might even invite you to dance. Someone's feeling extroverted today, it seems. ]
E.
[ He's enjoying the time he gets to wear his own face, without a glamour for once. Rather than retire early as usual, he heads off into the woods, towards the bonfires.
Sometimes he can be seen (or heard) entertaining an audience of some kind - you might catch him in the middle of telling a story - or maybe he's just standing by himself, contemplatively gazing into the flames. He's had a busy night, after all. ]
