I think so, yes. History's fascinating like that. Even though there is so much about the past that we can't reconstruct properly, everything has still left a trace. And how we look at those traces today often tells us something about our modern world as well.

I like it a lot. Throughout the centuries mankind has tried time and time again to achieve what you are trying to achieve here - the true peaceful coexistence. And time and time, everything fell apart and was rebuild. All new, yet in parts always the same. History has a lot to teach. And though mankind has always been the same, some brilliant minds really left their marks.

That kind of impact... It's harder to make now that digital communication has made the flow of information so widespread and easily accessible, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth striving for.
