my life took a turn
What: Part 2 of Vivi's player plot.
Who: Anyone who signed up here or has a reason/interest to go.
Where: A mist-shrouded village in the Outlands.
When: Late March.
Warnings: Shouldn't be anything? But i'll edit as they come up. I'll match your format!
A. Setting Off/En Route
The mysterious figure who visited the Academy a few weeks prior has come to take Vivi to a place where he will gain answers about his past. Looking a bit more battered than they did previously (though it's hard to tell, given their already bedraggled state), they're a little more open to the idea of company than they were before.
"A long journey," they instruct. "Make ready first. Before you go."
As Vivi's mysterious kindred promises, the journey is rather long - and secretive. It winds through lonely hills, alien valleys and shimmering rivers, where little to no civilisation of any kind seems to exist - but, at least, there's no real danger.
There's plenty of time to talk (and rest) on the journey. If all goes well, it will take most of a day before arrival.
B. Village in Mist
Their final destination is in a tucked-away valley, its hills blooming with flowers. The faint warks of strange Outlands birds echo through the fog. For those who walked in Vivi's dreams some months ago, the village that greets them - full of huts and mounds, and with pointy-hatted, cloak-wearing people who look uncannily like Vivi himself, but taller and larger - will be eerily familiar.
They're friendly enough, if cautious of outsiders. Vivi wanders among them like he's in a dream, not sure whether to be confused, hesitant, or delighted.
C. Ruined Factory
A dilapidated, broken factory, still wheezing Mist futilely in its attempts at processing, crouches on the landscape like a half-cracked egg. Machinery and metal scaffolding pokes out of its fire-blasted, broken walls.
It's a lonely, desolate place. But there could be answers, if you're willing to get your hands dirty; it appears a conflict of some kind took place here, and the place has collapsed in on itself from a combination of neglect and damage.
Or you could just be following Vivi, who has made a beeline for the factory regardless.

"Hello Tobias. Yes, it does seem like a bad place to live. There's just something..."
But Adriel realizes they're about to say something they weren't asked for and shakes their head.
"No, never mind. It is a nice place."

"Not bad but not good either. It's...bitter...? I don't understand." Adriel shakes their head. "It might just be me."

Real hawk expressions are all body language, nothing to do with his face. He's just curious, despite having the ultimate resting bitch face. < Maybe you're seeing something I'm not. They seem content to me. >

They don't know these people. It's a sudden feeling, an unwelcome one. Adriel was supposed to always be happy so to feel bitterness when they look at this tiny village is wrong.
